A.N.D is a truly fabulous little fair-trade clothing shop in Phnom Penh and an absolute cut above anything we found in the markets. The designs are beautiful and thoughtfully done for both men and women, and the quality of the fabrics is easily the highest we came across in the city. We bought several pieces and loved every one: shirts for myself and my son, and a gorgeous dressing gown for my daughter. The silk scarves were a real highlight, with amazing patterns designed by Alan and his team, and we also picked up some wonderful pottery. Everything feels carefully made, stylish, and made to last. Despite the quality, the pricing is excellent and very fair. What really sets A.N.D apart is Alan himself. He has an extraordinary collection of pieces from fashion shows he’s been involved in over the years — beautiful, creative, and genuinely special — and it’s well worth asking to have a look. He’s about as friendly and welcoming as they come, and it’s very clear he has spent many years working closely with people across Cambodia, doing what he can to make a real and meaningful difference. The shop itself is charming and relaxed, and it sits among other lovely boutique shops, making the whole area great fun to explore. Highly recommended — a wonderful shop with heart, integrity, and exceptional designs.

Five stars. When I travel, I always try to spend my money in places that support local artisans and protect quality, rather than mass-produced tourist stuff. A.N.D does exactly that. The products feel genuinely well made, with great attention to materials and finish, and it’s clear there’s real care behind what they stock. What I appreciated most is the sense that this shop is built around fair pay and respectful partnerships with the makers, so you’re not just buying something nice, you’re supporting livelihoods and local communities in a meaningful way. If you want a beautiful piece and you want to feel good about where your money is going, I’d absolutely recommend stopping here.

True to their word, they can have an item stitched to your side in one business day. This is a great shop with a wide range of designs. Well worth the visit

Tout est joli dans cette boutique à des prix très raisonnables. Beaucoup d'idées cadeaux : foulard, plaid, vêtement, vaisselle, ... du made in Cambodia!

Ethical, sustainable, original and fun! I absolutely love this shop and the ethos behind their clothes. The staff are paid fair wages, and the tailors are encouraged to stay in their community for production (meaning they can support their children and families better). I’ve bought lots of lovely jewellery (see ceramic necklace in the photo) as well as clothes, and the owners are so interesting to talk to, you’ll always learn something new !

A.N.D is a retail shop where you can buy, sell and trade. In the states, we would classify this establishment as a thrift store.

I’ve known of the shop for several years, finally venturing from Canada this past month and was delighted. Visually attractive and welcoming shop displaying a fabulous selection of fabrics from silk scarves to colourful casual wear, hand bags to blankets, and many other unique stylish accoutrements. My suitcase simply wasn’t large enough to accommodate all that I desired. What is truly exceptional about this shop and the manufacturing behind-the-scene is the passion, commitment and congeniality of the socially and ecologically conscious community and most exceptional inviting owner.
